and ready to harvest! So we planted alfalfa and oats in our field this year! It was a lot of work, well for Steven anyway. We had to have the field dug up last fall . . . then it had to be disked under . . . then we had to put in the corrugation rows to allow the water to flow properly . . . then we planted and irrigated it all summer. . . and on Monday it was cut . . . on Friday it will be baled and our first hay bales we will have harvested!!!

It's so nice to see that something has finaily turned green!!! In case you can't see there are rows of cut alfalfa!!

Wow! You have a lot of land. So what do you do with the hay bales? (My grandpa has tried, in vain, to teach me about farming!)
